LIMITED EDITION OF 100 PIECES The Maestro GC39 25th Anniversary Edition reimagines the iconic 2005 Maestro GC39 by Mr. Genta. The watch features the rare jumping hours complication, a superb manufacture movement crafted in-house, and a lapis lazuli dial brought to life through Meta Guillochage, a pioneering micro-chemical engraving technique.
Bracelet
The watch is fitted with a Royal Blue vulcanised rubber strap, offering both durability and elegance. Its top side features a refined Clous de Paris pattern, while the reverse showcases a subtle Gerald Charles logo tapisserie. A polished butterfly deployant buckle completes the ensemble, ensuring a secure and sophisticated fit.
Detail of Dial
At the heart of the dial lies a striking Lapis Lazuli centerpiece, surrounded by a Colormix blue frame and a precise black minute track. Showcasing Gerald Charles’ innovation, the dial features meta-guillochage: a proprietary micro-chemical engraving technique for unmatched depth and detail. Polished Colormix blue cabochon indexes and sword-shaped hands complete the design, alongside the distinguished Gerald Charles Genève logo.

In developing the Swiss Manufacture 4.0 Calibre Jumping Hours, the Maison’s engineers faced significant physical challenges: the jumping hours disc, 25 times heavier than a conventional hour hand, must advance instantaneously once every hour. According to Newton’s second law, this sudden acceleration demands a force orders of magnitude greater, up to 70,000 times, than that required in a traditional three-hand movement.
