The Maestro 3.0
The GC3.0 Chronograph in steel represents another significant evolution of the Maison’s signature Maestro model. Following its premiere in 18k rose gold, it is now available in steel for the first time. Featuring a new hand-finished manufacture chronograph calibre, the new GC3.0 in steel weights 110gr.

Movement
For the GC3.0-A Chronograph, Gerald Charles returned to the Calibre Ref. GCA3022/12, an automatic chronograph movement based on the GCA3002. It too offers remarkable thinness, measuring just 6.07mm in height, including its bi-directional rotating oscillating weight, and also offers a twin-barrelled 50-hour power reserve. It showcases the best of fine Swiss tradition; conforming to Fleurier’s highest quality standards, enriched by Côte de Genève decorated bridges. Gerald Charles’s watchmakers worked to maximise the movement’s accuracy and 50-hour power reserve, and to improve vibration and shock resistance.
The Maestro case 3.0
For the Maestro 3.0 Chronograph, Gerald Charles has once more revisited the iconic Maestro case. With an overall 40mm fit, it has been subtly but significantly updated with more squared angles. The bespoke chronograph pushers were never seen before and the overall form has been designed to sit flat on the wrist, measuring only 11.5mm in depth.

Water-resistance
The watch has been engineered with a bespoke gasket to seal the irregularly shaped sapphire crystal. Extensive tests have been conducted in the world’s deepest indoor pool built in 2014, thanks to the collaboration of our Friend and Olympic Swimmer, Luca Dotto, who dove in apnea wearing the GC watches.

Timeless Black
The Gerald Charles strap in timeless black features its classic double-face decoration with Clou de Paris on one side and the GC logo’s tapisserie on the other. This is also an original design by Mr. Genta for the Swiss Maison. The strap material is a technical vulcanized rubber, chosen by the Maison to guarantee superior water resistance, strength, durability and comfort on the wrist.
