The Maestro 2.0
The Maestro GC2.0-RG Ultra-Thin showcases a unique combination: along with the 18-carat rose gold case, the watch features a royal blue sunburst dial and vulcanized rubber strap, decorated with the Maison’s signature Clous de Paris motif on the top side, and with Gerald Charles logo tapisserie on the other. In keeping with the Maison’s vision of sporty-elegant timepieces, this watch conveys casual charm and sophistication, and showcases the most accurate and reliable Swiss mechanics.
Movement
The Maestro GC2.0-RG Ultra-Thin houses the highly sophisticated Calibre Ref. GCA3002 Manufacture, a 3.7 mm thick automatic that delivers time and date functions, elevated levels of accuracy and vibration and shock resistance, and a twin-barrelled 50-hour power reserve. It has a high-grade, bi-directional rotating rotor set on a low-friction ceramic ball bearing system. This model is powered by exclusive automatic mechanical calibre developed in collaboration with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier, and customised for Gerald Charles. It features the Maison’s beautiful new hexagonal-shaped oscillating weight, designed by the world-renowned watch designer Mr. Octavio Garcia.
The Maestro case 2.0
The Maestro 2.0 automatic has a sapphire crystal case back showcasing the beautiful manufacture automatic movement and is carved out of eight pieces of solid 18-carat rose gold. It is ultra-thin and with an overall 40mm fit. Its superior ergonomics and lightweight make it suitable for both men and women to wear elegantly on the wrist across codes and styles.
Water-resistance
As with all Gerald Charles watches, they’re water-resistant to 100 metres.The watch has been engineered with a bespoke gasket to seal the irregularly shaped sapphire crystal. Extensive tests have been conducted in the world’s deepest indoor pool built in 2014, thanks to the collaboration of our Friend and Italian Swimmer and European Champion 100m freestyle, Luca Dotto, who dove in apnea wearing the GC watches.
Royal Blue
The Gerald Charles strap in royal blue features its classic double-face decoration with Clou de Paris on one side and the GC logo’s tapisserie on the other. This is also an original design by Mr. Genta for the Swiss Maison. The strap material is a technical vulcanized rubber, chosen by the Maison to guarantee superior water resistance, strength, durability and comfort on the wrist.
